Youth aged one-18 years are eligible to participate. Breakfast will also be served at select sites. Between June 6 and July 14, 2022, representatives from APS Title I will be distributing book bags at 18 Albuquerque summer meal sites Monday to Thursday.

Story Time in the Park is an APS Title I Family Engagement initiative that provides a book bag of high-quality children’s literature, reading strategies, lesson ideas, and “tip sheets” for families reading at home. Books and reading are key to helping kids continue learning during the summer, and this program was created to get books in the hands of Albuquerque youth. And it's FREE!
